I am looking at workout DVD's since we don't have a treadmill and it's to cold outside. I am looking at getting "The Biggest Loser the Workout." Does anyone have it and what are your thoughts on it. Also if you have a DVD that you love, PLEASE tell me about it!! Thanks
lol hun as long as they have a light menu you can eat out. just need to plan. look up nutritional info and calculate your point total before you go.
ReplyDeleteya that's true, Hahaha
ReplyDeleteI've done the biggest loser workout on TV and I like it, I also like the 10 minute workout series. I would recommend getting wrist weights to up whatever workout you do and make sure to keep your abs tight lol! if you simply follow the motions on the screen you won't get much of a workout.
ReplyDeleteGreat! Thanks Amy, I will look into them :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with trying to stay away from the extra 35 points. I find I don't lose when I do. We keep a lot of the 100 calorie snacks at home and fresh fruit. We also try to stay away from restaurants but you can't always and sometimes you NEED to go out. Try and stay away from the bread basket/chips. We also drink a drink called "Function - Light Weight" It is only 10 calories so 0 points and it really helps with my after school cravings. I keep a bottle at school and drink it when the kids leave and I am not as starving when I get home.
ReplyDeleteThanks Aunt Robyn, I'll have to check out that drink. We have never heard of it before.
ReplyDeleteWe get it at Target - by the vitamin water. Some grocery stores have it in the "speciality water" aisle. Try it, and if you like it, look for sales. It can be expensive $1.69 a bottle not on sale but I figure it is worth it when it stops me from snacking. I sent Aunt Penny and Uncle Al on a buying mission when they were out here before Christmas - they went to 3 different Targets for us and bought them out - we are still drinking it and Jack and I both have 1 a day : )
