Day 28 (3/5)

TIP OF THE DAY: About 3,500 calories equals one pound of weight. So, if you take in approximately 3,500 calories less or burn that amount during physical activity and exercise, you lose one pound.

Today was my last day of the work week of being a stay at home wife. I start my new job on Monday!! :)

I did not workout/walk today as much as I wanted to but I did walk/hop in place while getting ready to go to the $1 movies. I figured it would be a good 5-10 min cardio just to get the hear rate up and maybe burn 10 calories or so. While at the movies that popcorn is always a killer for me. But we just walked right past the food stand and right into the movie. We had just eaten dinner before we went so that helped a lot because I was not hungry/tempted as much to get the popcorn. I had frozen a water bottle and packed that in my purse and drank it during the movie. And that worked fine for me! :)

Today is going to be a shorter blog so on to what I ate;

BREAKFAST:
1 bowl Cinnamon Oatmeal-3 points

LUNCH:
1 Stir Fry with Rice-9 points

DINNER: at Subway;
1 Foot Long Chicken Teriyaki-15 points

I know I did not eat any snacks through out the day but I was not hungry. So why make yourself eat when you don't need to, Right?? But when dinner time came around I ate half of the foot long then and about 2 hrs. later I ate the other half.

I walked 4092 steps today! my goal for the day was 4060. So I made it and beat it by 32 steps!! WOO HOO!! Tomorrows goal is 4592 steps.

I also drank 6 cups of water today!! :)

Tomorrow we are celebrating a friends birthday and going to see a Beatles band so I am sure there will be some dancing involved so I hope that will help with the steps!

Also Tomorrow is weigh in day!! I am not sure about this one, because of not working out as much as I would have liked, I think I may gain. but I REALLY hope not!
