Day 29 (3/6)

TIP OF THE DAY: Eat more fiber. Fiber gives you a satiated feeling, helping you to curb food cravings. It also keeps your colon healthy, and aids in proper digestion. Research has shown that obesity puts you at higher risk for colorectal cancer, primarily due to a low-fiber, high-calorie, processed food diet. Incorporate ground flax seed in smoothies, soups, and favorite cereals to increase your fiber intake.

Today Scott, Dexter (the dog) and I went for a walk in the woods. It was so nice to spend some time with the family and exploring the woods :) And it helps that I got some extra steps in too!!

At my friends party the dance floor was so packed that we just all sat at the table and caught up. It was lovely!! So I am glad that I did not rely on my workout today to be dancing ;)

Well on to what I ate;

BREAKFAST:
1 bowl Cinnamon Oatmeal-3 points
1 Banana-2 points

SNACK:
1 Beef Jerky-2 points

WORKOUT:
35 minute Walk in the Woods-Gained 2 points

LUNCH:
Roasted Turkey Breast-1 point
Lettuce-0 points
2 slices Provolone Cheese-6 points
2 slices White Bread-4 points

DINNER:
1 cup Chili-3 points
1 Tbs. Sour Cream-1 point
A Small amount of Cheese-2 points(estimating here)
2 saltine Crackers-0 points
1 side salad-0 points
Vinaigrette dressing on the side-1 point
1 MGD Light-3 points (they did not have my select 55!!)

DESSERT:
1 Ice cream sandwich-3 points (we went to the gas station on the way home and I wanted some Ice Cream that I could eat in the car. So I got this and it was worth it!! :)

Total Points: 31 out of 31 points for the day. But with the 35 minute walk I gained 2 points so the TRUE value is 29 out of 31 points for the day!!

I drank 5 glasses of water. I kept ordering more water but the waiter never got me any. OH WELL.

Today I walked 5,134 (2.68 miles) my goal was to get to 4,592. I got to my goal and beat it by 542 steps!!I jumped ahead a full day!! WOO HOO!!! :)
